How Glyphosate Weed and Grass Killer Works

Spot Spraying Around Landscapes

A grass and weed killer can be used to carefully spot spray unwanted vegetation growing near shrubs, trees and ornamental beds. Spraying beside a desirable plant is acceptable when the application is directed only at the weed and the spray does not contact the desirable plant.

Do not allow the spray to touch green bark, leaves, exposed roots, shoots or other actively growing parts of shrubs, flowers or trees. Even a small amount of spray drift can cause discoloration, injury or complete plant death.
