What is the best fertilizer for grass root growth?

15-20-12 Starter Lawn Fertilizer is the best fertilizer to use when trying to increase root development typically at seeding. Additional phosphorous enhances and encourages root development, and with our blended nitrogen sources, your grass seed will germinate and develop faster.

What is the best fertilizer for grass in summer?

It depends on your lawn type. Warm season lawns such as bermuda grass and zoysia grass greatly benefit from higher nitrogen fertilizer such as 20-0-10.
