Step 4: Apply Starter Fertilizer at the rate of 3-5 lbs. per 1,000 sqft. Starter fertilizer will continue to feed the lawn as the seed begins to germinate with its slow-release blend.
Step 5: Top-dress any bare areas with seed aide or peat moss for faster germination.
Step 6: Keep Watered. Check seed daily to make sure that it is staying moist. If you see puddles, lower watering time down. If it's dry, increase watering times and frequency for best results. Seed should be watered 1-3 times a day for 10-14 days.
