Who This Product Is For

  • Advanced DIY lawn enthusiasts
  • Liquid spray applications
  • Spoon-feeding nitrogen programs
  • Correcting visible nitrogen deficiency
  • Custom fertilizer blending

If you prefer a safer, controlled-release nitrogen option, consider our slow-release nitrogen blends such as our Almighty 20-0-10 instead.

Why Use 46-0-0?

  • Quick green-up before an event
  • Correcting nitrogen deficiency
  • Quick plant uptake for rapid green response
  • Boosting growth after stress or damage
  • Spoon-feeding(sprayable) during growing season

Important Application Guidance

Maximum recommended rate: 1 lb of nitrogen per 1,000 sq ft per application.

  • 1 lb N → 2.17 lbs of product per 1,000 sq ft
  • 0.5 lb N → 1 lb of product per 1,000 sq ft

Water in immediately after application. Urea can volatilize if left on the surface and may cause burn if overapplied.

  • Beginner lawn programs
  • High-heat summer applications without irrigation
  • Homeowners unsure of nitrogen math

👉 Use with care—high nitrogen content can burn lawns if overapplied

Do this product contain a polymer coating?
46-0-0 is pure urea without any coating.
How much water do I need to melt 1lb of 46-0-0 for 0.5lb for 1000sqft
Water volume is just a carrier — it doesn’t change the nutrient rate, only helps with coverage. The main goal is to apply evenly without burning. Typical spray volumes for soluble fertilizers: 1–2 gallons of water per 1,000 ft² (common for turf spraying). Urea is highly soluble so it dissolves easily in small volumes. So you can safely dissolve your ~1.1 lb of urea in 1 gallon of water and spray that evenly over 1,000 ft². If you want better coverage, use 2–3 gallons.
Is this 100% soluble, without residue? I want to apply it to fruit trees through a drip fertigation system. Thanks.
Yes it is. However our 20-20-20 water soluble would be much better since it contains many other nutrients.
I have a tow behind sprayer.. it's just a fixed spray. It's 21 gallons.. how much do I mix ? And I assume I just go real slow? Idk how fast to tow it.. https://lawnsynergy.com/products/46-0-0-sprayable-urea-nitrogen-fertilizer
First calibrate your sprayer using water. Spray a 5,000 sqft area and write down how many gallons of water it took to spray. Divide the number of gallons by 5 to get your spray volume. Email us at support@lawnsynergy.com and we will then create your mix.
