Clay size
"The size of clay kept getting stuck in the gate/valve of my two different Scott’s spreaders. This would hold the gate open or even plug the opening restricting the flow of product. May not be issue for some of the top of the line spreaders."
Close
"Individual particles were larger than my spreader liked and no directions specific to Scott’s spreader settings. Make it easy to switch!"
Shipped to incorrect addres.
"Did not receive item. Product was shipped to incorrect address. Customer Service did not assist with correcting the mistake and I still have not located the item or received, refund or new shipment."

pre-emergent
"So far it must be working--no emergent weeds in the lawn! It is quite heavy (50 pound bag) for me as a senior woman. Next time, I will try to get a bag of fertilizer and a bag of pre-emergent separately."

Q&A
- I have a Bahia grass I can I use this? I ask because it’s not labeled for Bahia grass. Thank you
- Based on the fertilizer and active ingredient, prodiamine is safe to use on bahia grass.
- How many bags I would to cover 1900 sq ft of yard space?
- This product would be too much for 1,900 sqft. This bag will cover up to 12,500 sqft. A better product for you would be our 15lb bag of safeguard 0-0-7.
- White clover
- No. Pre-emergent is only used as a preventative. You would need to spray a broadleaf weed control first and then apply preventative pre-emergent and it will prevent weeds in the future.
