Hydretain ES Plus II

Application Instructions

Turfgrass

Apply 9 oz. per 1,000 sq ft (or 3 gallons per acre) via spray or drench. Water in with at least 1/10 inch of irrigation within 2 hours, then apply more water within 24 hours to reach the root zone. Reapply every 3 months, or monthly at 1/3 rate for maintenance.

Seeding, Sodding, or Sprigging

Apply 9 oz. per 1,000 sq ft immediately after installation. Lightly water in to rinse product into the root or seed zone.

Trees, Shrubs & Individual Plants

Dilute at 2 oz. per gallon of water and drench the root zone. For trees, apply 4–8 oz. of concentrate per inch of trunk diameter. Dilution range: 50:1 to 300:1.

Potted or Containerized Plants

Dilute 2 oz. per gallon and drench the planting media. Apply through injectors at 50:1 to 100:1. For higher dilution, use multiple applications.

Gardens & Large Planters

Dilute 2 oz. per gallon or apply through injectors at 50:1 to 100:1. Use 2 oz. of concentrate per 60 sq ft. One gallon covers up to 4,000 sq ft.

Best Practices

Apply to damp soil for best results. In stubborn dry spots, apply up to 5x the rate if needed. Product is biodegradable. Reapply every 3 months or sooner if signs of stress return.
