Product Description

More concentrated than standard Bifen I/T for powerful outdoor insect control.

Bifen XTS contains 25.1% bifenthrin—more than three times the active-ingredient concentration found in standard 7.9% Bifen. Its highly concentrated, oil-based formula is a strong choice for homeowners/professionals who want dependable residual control against mosquitoes, ticks, ants, fleas, armyworms, chinch bugs, spiders, and other listed pests.

Use it as a broadcast lawn treatment or create a protective barrier around your home, garage, shed, landscaping, and other labeled areas. Because the formula is highly concentrated, only a small amount of product is required per application.

Why Choose Bifen XTS?

  • Broad-Spectrum Control: Controls numerous lawn, landscape, and perimeter pests with one product.
  • Highly Concentrated: Contains 25.1% bifenthrin for professional-strength insect control.
  • Multiple Uses: Labeled for lawns, ornamental plants, foundations, soil, mulch, fence rows, garages, sheds, and other listed areas.
  • Residual Protection: Leaves a residual treatment that continues controlling listed pests after the spray dries.

Best Uses

  • Controlling mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, ants, spiders, and other pests around the home
  • Treating armyworms, chinch bugs, sod webworms, mole crickets, and other lawn-damaging insects
  • Creating a perimeter barrier around foundations, garages, sheds, and fence lines
  • Treating listed insects on ornamental trees, shrubs, and landscape plants

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Bifen XTS contains 25.1% bifenthrin, while standard Bifen contains 7.9%. Bifen XTS is an oil-based, highly concentrated formula commonly selected for outdoor lawn, landscape, and perimeter treatments. Bifen I/T is a water-based formula that may be preferred when odor, mixing flexibility, or broader indoor use is the priority. Always follow the application rates on the label for the specific product being used.

Bifen XTS controls many common outdoor pests, including ants, mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, armyworms, chinch bugs, sod webworms, mole crickets, spiders, scorpions, crickets, earwigs, grasshoppers, and other insects listed on the label.

Yes. It is labeled for broadcast applications to home lawns and turf. Apply it evenly using the rate and water volume listed for the target pest.

For most listed lawn pests, apply 0.07–0.15 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft. Imported fire ants and adult Japanese beetles may require up to 0.30 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft.

For home lawns, apply Bifen XTS in 2–10 gallons of water per 1,000 sq ft. Use more water when treating thick grass or dense foliage to improve coverage.

It depends on the pest. For subsurface pests such as mole crickets, irrigate with 0.25–0.5 inches of water immediately after treatment. For armyworms, cutworms, and sod webworms, do not water or mow for 24 hours.

Yes. It may be applied as a residual perimeter treatment to labeled areas around structures. The label provides dilution rates of 1/6 fl oz per gallon or 1/3 fl oz per gallon, depending on the treatment rate.

Keep children and pets away during application and until the treated surfaces have completely dried.

Do not apply during rain. For best results and to reduce runoff, apply when rain is not expected for at least 24 hours.

A surfactant is not required for most applications. However, the label recommends a non-ionic or silicone-based surfactant when using less than 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq ft or when targeting subsurface pests such as mole crickets.
